Knighthawk Armoury - LARP Approvals
Over the years, many LARPing groups have approved the use of these latex-foam weapons
in their gaming systems. Here is a partial list of those groups, broken down by
manufacturer.
At this time, most LARPs allow latex-foam weapons in their system. Only those LARPs
with specific combat needs, like
Dagorhir's
colored weapon scheme and
Amtgard's
full contact combat style, have prevented them from using these fabulous products.
Please note that currently the
SCA only
allows these products in their Junior and Equestrian divisions.
In EVERY case, we STRONGLY recommend that you check with the Safety Official
of your organization to ensure that these items are allowed before spending
your hard earned money. While our refund policy is very generoous, it's disappointing
to get a fabulous new LARP weapon, only to have it disallowed where you most want it to
be used.

Artyfakes is the company that designed the original Ex-Caliber line of products, and they are now
now designing and producing an Action Prop product line exclusively for Knighthawk Armoury. These products
are hand-made, and every weapon with a core contains a carbon fiber core. These
products are similar but superior to the Forgotten Dreams and Iron Fortress product lines. Their striking surfaces
are harder than the old Ex-Caliber weapons, but they are also FAR more durable!
In addition to the carbon fiber core, all of the blade are slightly expanded at the tip for
added durability and safety.
I expect to get approval from every LARP that tries these wonderful weapons.

Calimacil is our highest-end product line. These products are made with an injection mold
process and ALL of the models we keep in stock have the hybrid carbon-fiber/fiberglass core.
I expect to get approvals from every LARP that tries these spectacular weapons.
Note that products made with the hybrid core can stand up to full-contact combat, which
means that these weapons are usable by those LARPs whose combat style is full-bore,
all-out, go-for-broke full contact like the SCA and Amtgard.

Eagle Flex is our new line that is constructed very much like, but simpler in design, to
the Forgotten Dreams and Iron Fortress products. I expect to get approvals from each of the LARPs that have
approved the Forgotten Dreams and the Iron Fortress lines as they get an opportunity to examine and
use the Eagle Flex weapons. Stay tuned....
